Mithaas Mithai Urli Candle

Inspired by a plate of mithai laid out for a celebration, Mithaas brings three familiar Indian sweets together in a round, hammered urli.

An orange laddoo, a yellow pedha and an ivory kaju katli sit over a white soy wax base. A scattering of green wax crumble recreates the look of crushed pista, adding a small detail that makes the arrangement feel familiar. The gold-toned bowl completes its festive look.

The base, mithai embeds and pista-style crumble are all made from soy wax, with a total wax weight of 210 g.

About the Fragrance

Mithaas carries EKAA’s Mithai Special fragrance. The scent is a combination of floral and fruity fragrance oils, blended to create a sweet and pleasant fragrance inspired by traditional Indian mithai. The exact blend is proprietary to EKAA.

Made After You Place Your Order

Every Mithaas candle is made after the order is received. Once poured, it is left to cool and cure for 24 to 48 hours. This allows the wax to set properly and helps the fragrance settle into the wax.

Each candle is handmade in Mumbai. Small differences in colour, finish and the placement of the mithai embeds and wax crumble are normal.

Approximate Burn Time

Mithaas has an approximate total burn time of 3 to 4 hours. This is an estimate, and the actual duration may vary.

As the mithai wax embeds melt into the base, they become part of the melted wax pool. Wick length, draughts, room conditions and the way the handmade arrangement melts can affect how quickly the wax is consumed.

Use the stated time as a guide and follow the care instructions throughout burning.

How to Use the Candle

Place the urli on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface and trim the wicks to about 5 mm before lighting. The mithai embeds and green pista-style crumble are made from wax and can remain in place.

• Keep away from draughts, fans, curtains, flowers and other flammable decorations.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from children and pets.
• The urli bowl can become hot during use.
• Do not touch or move the urli while the candle is burning or the wax is liquid.
• Allow the wax and container to cool completely before handling.
• Stop using the candle before the wax is completely consumed.

This is a decorative candle. The mithai embeds and crumble are not edible.
