Ten Mithai Candles in One Gift Box – EKAA’s Mithai Candles Gift Box

A festive box with one of each EKAA mithai candle: Immarti, Jalebi, Chandrakala, Motichoor Laddoo, Boondi Laddoo, Modak, Kaju Katli, Malai Pedha, Barfi and Gujiya. Each candle takes its shape from a their Indian sweet counterpart. Together, they make a colourful gift for someone who enjoys thoughtful, handmade details.

The full set works as a standalone gift or as the centrepiece of a larger hamper. It can also be arranged as unlit festive table décor. Keep the candles away from food and make sure no one mistakes them for sweets.

What Is Inside the Mithai Candle Box

The set contains one candle of each design. The colours below describe the photographed box. Hand-poured batches may show small colour and finish differences. Measurements are approximate, might differ slightly during handmade shaping and production.

1. Immarti Candle – The orange Immarti candle looks like the mithai it is named after and is one of the larger pieces in the box. It has approximately 60 g of wax and measures 3 × 3 × 0.75 in.
2. Jalebi Candle – The yellowish-orange Jalebi candle adds a familiar mithai-shop favourite to the set. It has approximately 18 g of wax and measures about 2 in across and 0.5 in high.
3. Chandrakala Candle – The Chandrakala candle brings another traditional mithai to the box, in the ochre-brown colour shown in the photo. It has approximately 29 g of wax and measures about 2.5 in in diameter and 2 in high.
4. Motichoor Laddoo Candle – The orange Motichoor Laddoo candle has the fine texture you would expect to see on a motichoor laddoo. It has approximately 26 g of wax and measures 1.5 × 1.5 × 1.5 in.
5. Boondi Laddoo Candle – The orange Boondi Laddoo candle has visible boondi detail, making it easy to tell apart from the motichoor one. The 1.5 in candle in this box has approximately 28 g of wax.
6. Modak Candle – The white Modak candle brings a much-loved festive sweet to the set, especially fitting for Ganesh Chaturthi. It has approximately 29 g of wax and measures 2 × 2 × 2 in.
7. Kaju Katli Candle – The Kaju Katli candle resembles a piece of kaju katli, with a cream or off-white base and a silver-coloured finish as shown in the photo. It has approximately 8 g of wax and is about 2 in long and 2 cm high.
8. Malai Pedha Candle – The yellow Malai Pedha candle looks right at home in this mithai box. It has approximately 18 g of wax and measures about 1.5 in in diameter and 1 in high.
9. Barfi Candle – The light peach or pink Barfi candle adds a softer colour among the brighter mithai pieces. It has approximately 20 g of wax and measures about 1 × 1 in across.
10. Gujiya Candle – The ochre-brown Gujiya candle brings a familiar festive mithai to the assortment. It has approximately 28 g of wax and measures about 3 in long and 1 in high.

The total wax weight of the ten candles inside the box is approximately 250 g. This excludes the gift box and packing materials.

A Mithai-Style Box for Your Occasion

For Diwali, the candles come in a Diwali-themed box that resembles a traditional mithai box. For other occasions, they come in an attractive mithai-style box suited to the celebration. About the Fragrance – EKAA Mithai Special Proprietary Blend

The scent is a combination of floral and fruity fragrance oils, blended to create a sweet and pleasant fragrance inspired by traditional Indian mithai. The exact blend is proprietary to EKAA.

Made After You Place Your Order

Every candle is made after the order is received. Once poured, each one is left to cool and cure for 24 to 48 hours. This allows the wax to set properly and helps the fragrance settle into the wax. When lit, the warm wax releases the scent into the room.

Handmade Finish

The candles are hand-poured in Mumbai using vegan soy wax and primed cotton wicks. Small differences in colour, shape, finish and embellishment are normal. Any decorative finish is part of the candle and is not food-safe.

How to Use the Candles

• Remove a candle from the gift box before lighting it. Never burn it inside the packaging.
• Place it upright on a flat, heat-resistant dish large enough to collect melted wax. Burn one candle at a time unless each candle has its own suitable dish and safe spacing.
• Trim the wick to about 5 mm before lighting.
• Keep away from draughts, fans, curtains, decorations and other flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from children and pets. Do not touch or move a candle while the wax is hot. Let the wax and dish cool fully before handling.
• These food-shaped candles are decorative and not edible.
