Hand-Painted and Wrapped for Diwali

Each Anar candle is hand-poured in vegan soy wax and painted by hand. It is then wrapped in paper and finished with a firecracker-style sticker, recreating the look of a traditional anar.

Remove the paper and sticker to reveal the painted candle underneath. Colours come assorted, inspired by the bright patakhas found in Diwali boxes.

Small differences in colour, painted details and finish are natural to the handmade process. Colours and label designs may differ from the photographs.

About the Sandalwood Fragrance

A warm, woody sandalwood fragrance accompanies the candle’s festive design. Its familiar scent suits an evening of diyas, shared meals and time spent together.

Made After You Place Your Order

Every Anar candle is made after the order is received. Once poured, the candle is left to cool and cure for 24 to 48 hours. This allows the wax to set properly and helps the fragrance settle into the wax.

Each candle is finished and wrapped by hand before being packed.

How to Use Your Anar Patakha Candle

• Remove all paper wrapping and stickers completely before lighting. Place the candle upright on a flat, heat-resistant plate, tray or shallow bowl large enough to collect melted wax.
• Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before lighting. Each candle has an approximate burn time of 1 hour. Actual burn time may vary, as shaped candles can melt and release wax differently with each use.
• Keep away from fans, draughts, curtains, flowers, festive decorations and other flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children and pets.
• Do not touch or move the candle while the wax is hot. Allow the wax and dish to cool fully before handling or cleaning.
