A Malai Pedha Mithai Candle for Indian Celebrations
EKAA’s Malai Pedha soy wax candle takes its shape from a rounded malai pedha. Place it on a festive table, add it to a gift hamper or give it as a return gift. It brings a familiar mithai detail to Diwali, festive hampers and return gifts. This is a decorative candle, not food.
About the Fragrance – EKAA Mithai Special Proprietary Blend
The scent is a combination of floral and fruity fragrance oils, blended to create a sweet and pleasant fragrance inspired by traditional Indian mithai. The exact blend is proprietary to EKAA.
Made After You Place Your Order
Every Malai Pedha candle is made after the order is received. Once poured, the candle is left to cool and cure for 24 to 48 hours. This allows the wax to set properly and helps the fragrance settle into the wax. When the candle is lit, the warm wax releases the scent into the room.
Handmade Finish
Each candle is made by hand using vegan soy wax and a primed cotton wick. Small differences in colour, shape, finish and embellishment are normal.
A Candle for Décor and Gifting
The Malai Pedha candle works in a mithai-inspired display, a festive hamper or a set of return gifts. Arrange unlit candles on a stable tray away from food; when lighting one, use a heat-resistant dish large enough to catch the melted wax.
How to Use the Candle
- Place it upright on a flat, heat-resistant plate, tray or shallow bowl large enough to collect melted wax.
- Trim the wick to about 5 mm before lighting.
- Keep away from draughts, fans, curtains, decorations and other flammable materials.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children and pets.
- Do not touch or move while the wax is hot. Let the candle and dish cool fully before handling.
- Decorative candle; not edible.
